Somery 0.4.6 is out!08/03/2006
You'll have to upload ALL of the files, and run 0.4.6-update.php before you can start tinkering with the new functions.

Read readme.txt and changelog.txt for information on how to use the new functions.

Added functionality:
- additional pages (?page=something)
- private notes (to save information through somery)
- ability to change the date/time format

If you've got any questions, post them on the forum! Thanks for using somery!

0.4.5 is out!29/01/2006
Due to an upgrade on my server, the version check service was acting very, very weird. So I took it out for now, as I haven't got the time right now to code one that doesn't act like a drunk ass grinder.

So yeah. Also, some new functionality (simple but nice) in articles.php, and a cleaned up functions.php.

So go download, read the changelog.txt file in docs and have fun!

Big changes! Somery 0.4.3 sees the light of day!03/11/2005
Version 200 was out yesterday, but while I was working on some details, I wondered why there were so many dead ends and awkward things in somery's identity. No clear license, no clear version numbering system - no intuitive way of finding out what the hell is going on - and even a stray function that was supposed to have been removed before 015. But it was still there, and so were the other problems.

So from now on, the numbering system will change. The new version is 0.4.3, and I suggest you read the CHANGELOG.txt file - and update all of the files. You can safely upload everything from the /admin/ folder and underneath. If you've got a pre-200 version, you need to follow the advice I gave in the previous post about config.php. If you've got 200 installed currently, there's no need to update your config.

Thanks, and I hope to be providing you with an awesome next version soon :)

Version 200!02/11/2005
This version contains new functions, to facilitate a working RSS/XML feed function. Study the readme.txt and you should be able to quite easily set it all up.

Also, I fixed a tiny error in the cookies script, so now it should set correctly (given that you update the config.php to the new version).

Thanks in advance! I'll probably release another version soonish :)

P.S. The new default somery style, peach blossom, is here, so update the skins directory too (it's called default, so should replace any other default skins).

Finally, the new version is out. The changes?

- blocks of text are now interpreted as being paragraphs - broken off by </p><p> instead of by break lines
- you can change the time offset to fit your local time (finally ;)
- increased archive functionality a bit. still not perfect, but it's something :)
